About Scout
Hi there, I'm Scout and I'm hoping to scout out a perfect new home for myself. Could that be with you?
I'm a lovely affectionate pup who adores a cuddle and will seek you out for attention and affection. I may not quite fit in your lap but as far as I'm concerned, I'm a lap dog! 🙂
When I was rescued by rangers, I was in pretty poor condition - skinny, infested with fleas and with yucky diarrhoea. Luckily my awesome foster family have take such good care of me and now I'm healthy and ready for my life to begin.
I am learning things like toilet training, crate training and how to sit and wait for my food. I'm a clever girl who is picking up new skills well.
In my ideal home, I will get to spend most of my time I doors hanging out with my family. I definitely want a home where I sleep inside!
I'm good with other dogs so if you have a friendly male pooch, I'd love to meet him and see if we can be friends. I havent lived with young children but I think if they were gentle and kind with me, that would be fine.
Because I love people so much, it would be great if youre at home a fair bit - but I'll be okay if you have to go out for work or study or whatever else it is that humans do!
I'm going to be medium to large when I finish growing. I'll benefit from a family who want to take me on regular walks and outings as well as doing some training with me while I'm young.
In your enquiry please tell us as much as you can about the lifestyle you have on offer for me.
My adoption fee is $520 and includes my initial vaccination and microchip plus my desexing at 6 months of age.
Thanks and I can't wait to meet you!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please email us at avonvalley@safe.org.au. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
