About Cookie
Hi Im Cookie!
I was the chonkiest dog at the park, but since arriving at CRQ I have been working out and eating healthy to be my fabulous best self.
I am a total snuggle bug, and would prefer to spend my days with you on the couch.
I will nudge at your hand until you pet me or let me under the blanket with you.
I am a loyal boy, and will defend my loved ones to the death.
l dont mind other dogs, and am happy to cuddle next to them too. But steal my bed and I might just sit on you!
I love going for walks, and will bounce for joy when you bring out my harness and lead.
Im happiest with a 15-20 minute walk daily.
As a former chonker, I obviously love treats, particularly Kong cheese in a can and fish cartilage sticks.
I will tolerates human friends and family coming over, and might even walk up for a cuddle but no sudden movements, please! He can get a bit scared due to his past history.
Im looking for a home with no children and regular visiting children. Men are a work in progress and I will take sometime to truly warm up. Due to my past I do not react well to male strangers.
Could you be my forever family?
Medical notes
5 year old Cookie is up to date with his vaccination, flea and tick prevention, as well as heart worm and intestinal worm prevention.
He has recently been desexed and had his hind dew claws removed.
He has some mild patella luxation which is common with the chihuahua breed, but it doesn’t cause him any problems, however a joint support such as Osteocare will be beneficial as he ages.
