Hi, my name is “River”: I might have a face (that only a mother could love) but I have a personality EVERYONE loves!! I’m a super sweet, happy, gentle, affectionate girl who loves all people. I don’t mind saying hello to other dogs as long as they are not in my face, I don’t like boisterous dogs. I am fine with cats; I think they are a lot gentler and more dignified than most dogs. I also like kids, they give great cuddles, which is my favourite thing.
I have been learning new things at my foster home, I can walk on lead, sit, wait for food, toilet outside, travel well in the car, and I sleep in a crate.
I am looking for a home with Shar pei experience as I need special care with my skin like all of us wrinkly Pei’s.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a secure yard.
• River will not be alone more than 4hrs.
• You will allow River to be part of the family and allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enroll her in obedience training.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with her breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer including FULL details on mental and physical stimulation you intend to provide will be considered. You will also need to include details on the obedience club you will be attending and what knowledge you have on her breeds.
