About Queen
Queen is a gorgeous black girl who lived rough for the first few months of her life. After a couple of months with Peggy's, she has turned into a delightful gentle girl who will fit into just about any household. She is comfortable around supervised children, other cats and a quiet dog in her foster home. At 5 months old she loves pats, and once she knows you, enjoys cuddles. Queen always uses the litter tray and would be best kept as an indoor kitty for her own safety, and to protect native wildlife from her natural instincts. Queen has had cat flu, and her eyes still need regular wipes, but the vet has given her clearance for adoption.
Although still too young to properly diagnose, our vets believe Queen may have a condition called Feline Gingivostomatitis. This means when Queen is an adult, she may need to have all of her teeth removed. As she still has her baby teeth, we are unable to do this now or properly diagnose it. Her new foster family will need to be aware of this risk and be prepared if this procedure becomes necessary.
Please enquire if you would like to know more.
