ABOUT SUNSHINE

I'm Sunshine! I am as happy as can be. I have a beautiful smile and love my humans and adventures.

I was training as an assistance dog, but I just get too excited for that type of role. I have great basic commands, sit, stay, down. I require lots of stimulation - and would love to learn scent training or agility! When I am paying attention and am focused my foster mum and dad say I am easy to train, walk and play with. Unfocused i'm just like a typical puppy, and can be mischievous.

I love to play ball and I am never too tired, even after a walk. I also love treats and I am so eager to please my foster mum and dad.

I have a 2 foster dog brothers both small, I get along great with one but the other is a little scared of me, as I don't realise my size, so i am better suited to calm fur siblings and bigger human siblings as I may knock over smaller humans.

My foster family also have a cat, I am intrigued by him and can be very excited and want to say hi, my feline foster brother is not keen on getting to know me. I could be introduced to a feline but I do have chasing/herding in my nature... so it would be a long introduction period.

I have not gotten along with chickens or another cat in my previous life, So please take that into consideration.

I am better suited to a strong owner as I can pull when walking as I am 27kg. My foster mum can handle me but would require intensive lead /walking training to improve my etiquette/pulling when walking.

I don't have any special requirements when it come to a yard except I need space to run and play. I do require exercise and enrichment daily and would love an active family.
