About Snicky
Hi my name is Snicky – I am a 16- year-old very well, young at heart Tortoiseshell female of the feline variety. I currently reside with my family who adopted me 16 years ago as an unwanted baby.
I live a very relaxed lifestyle, only requiring brushing when you’re in the mood to oblige me. I love pats, but mostly on my terms. I love to just sit beside you in the sun. This is my idea of purrrrrrfection.
I am an outdoor kind of girl, but can easily be persuaded to come inside from time to time. I love walking in the garden and helping you hang the washing out. I am a great listener and I never speak back. I can get under your feet a bit, but its only to make you stop and chat for a while and smell the roses (at least that is what I’m told).
I am not a fussy eater and love what is put in front of me. I have a snack in the morning and evening and plenty of water.
I have my own house outside and am protected from the elements (including stray animals) by my curfew as suggested by my Vet. I have always been protected. I am certainly not opposed to living inside but I don’t like the scary outside at night. I also do not like thunderstorms. You won’t find me if you don’t lock me up before the storm hits. I have been told I’m quite shy with other people and fur babies until I get to know them. I haven’t had the opportunity to co-habitat with another pet. I have from time to time been cared for by house sitters when my owners travelled. I am very well behaved and really loved the attention. They all said I was “delightful”.
I have perfected the kitty litter box and I am very tidy with my meticulous grooming regime. I have all my shots, worming and flea protection up to date. I don’t have issues with visiting my Vet when required. I only usually go when shots are due. I haven’t had a sick day in my life – although I did have a confrontation with a baby brown snake once that wanted to play. This resulted in a nip on the front leg with no venom – so just a fat leg for a day or so.
My family unfortunately cannot keep me for much longer and I need a new owner to protect and care for me in the manner to which I am accustomed. Of course, a change is as good as a rest.
I would be delighted to live with you and please do not hesitate to contact my family if you want to know more about me. I have attached pictures of myself to encourage you to want me.
Regards, Snicky

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of adoption fee. Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
