About Buster and Jasper ~ (On Trial 22/08/21)
Introducing a lovely bonded pair of Jack Russell Terriers, Buster the 10 year old beach boy and Jasper the cruisy 5 year old fella.
Buster and Jasper were raised with lots of love but due to unforeseen circumstances have found themselves looking for their new forever home.
Buster is very much an active 10 year old, always upfront during his walk and lights up when he is taken to the beach for a swim and fetch session. He loves playing tug of war and crunching on carrots. Whilst Jasper on the other hand loves a relaxing dip and is happy to chill on the sand while Buster does the heavy lifting.
Buster and Jasper are content outside when their family is not home but when they are, they want to be inside where you are, especially if there is a chance you could drop crumbs.
They are still getting used to the doggy door and working on their toilet training and will need a little more time perfecting it. So someone who is patient is a must.
Jasper loves his food and has managed to get to a weight now where his is panting much less and moving about more comfortably so his new owner will need to be able to hold strong when he gives you his cute face for more food. He enjoys a short walk but if Buster is not quite finished he will happily share a pram with his current little foster carer and watch the world go by.
Their perfect home would have someone home more often then not or a walk before work on the days they are out. A home where their people really invite them to be part of the family as they love to watch you play a game of soccer or accompany you on a beach or bush adventure.
In their current foster home the have learnt to share the space with a large breed dog but Buster has needed to do so at his own pace. They have not been tested with cats or pocket pets but ideally would like it to be just the two of them like Batman and Robin or Bert and Ernie. They are very comfortable around the company of children and currently live with two young ones but can be quick to snatch food from little hands so would recommend kids above 5 years old.
They currently have their own sleeping space inside and whilst Jasper is not confident with his current doggies door which is fitted to suit the permanent resident dog of 30kgs, he will give you a morning call to be let out to start his day and of course have breakfast.
