About Amaya
Amaya is ready to find her forever after.
Meet the sweetest girl on the Coast, Amaya (Ah-mah-yah), which means “Night Rain” in Japanese.
Amaya is a 6-month old Border Collie mix and is just full of love for her humans.
She came to us from the pound as a skinny, scared little thing but within a very short time she is showing her true colours.
Amaya is a very affectionate, gentle little lady who is keen to learn.
This smart girl learnt to fetch the ball after just three attempts.
She has only had basic training so far, but she is a very quick learner.
Training her will be easy and so rewarding!
Being a working breed, Amaya needs a lot of exercise and a big garden to roam.
She is best suited for an active, caring home, where her humans can spend lots of time with her.
She would get on well with older children.
As she can be timid with other dogs initially, she may need a little while to get used to her new companion if there is another dog in the house.
She has not been tested with cats.
If you are looking for an affectionate, intelligent, elegant and loyal forever friend, don’t look any further !
Amaya is desexed, vaccinated to date and is microchipped as well as flea and worm treated.
She is in foster care at Sippy Downs and her adoption fee is $595.
If you are interested in meeting Amaya, please send us a message – we do miss comments.
Please note – We do expect a large number of enquiries for this baby and will only be forwarding the best matches to the carer for consideration for meets.
PLEASE, please take the time to give us as much information as you can in your message about you and the lifestyle you could offer to Amaya.
Only those selected for meets will be contacted an meets are limited so do not be afraid to sell yourself.
Thank you for understanding this.
