Niffler is a beautiful, gentle, shy little girl. She is an absolute darling and is looking for a specific type of home.

Niffler came into care with her sister and has been in foster care for 4 weeks. She has been living with an older kelpie, cat and chickens. She is cat friendly. She is chook friendly.
She loves the idea of playing with her older foster Kelpie but doesn’t really know how to. She is regularly seen cowering at the feet of the friendly Kelpie and she appears apprehensive at times at the Kelpies type of (gentle) play.

Niffler’s new home will need to have a calm dog who is tolerant of puppies. An older dog will provide Niffler the confidence to come out of her shell and provide her with a mentor to show her the ropes, as well as have a furry companion.

Niffler is a calm eater and loves her food. Being food orientated will make training easy! Her new family will need to be committed to training and socialising her. She has yet to be trained on a lead. She is not toilet trained but can wee on towels strategically left on the floor.
Being such a young puppy, Niffler does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. It is essential that her new family are home often to spend quality time with her as she adjusts to her new home and life without her sister.

Despite Niffler’s timid behaviour, Niffler loves a run in the garden and exploring the yards. Niffler loves to chew squeaky toys, pull ropes and soft teddy bears. She will regularly greet you with a hundred licks if you let her. When playtime is over, Niffler loves to snuggle on your lap or cuddle up on the couch.

Niffler is looking for calm and attentive family to share her life with. Niffler’s new family will need to demonstrate how they will meet her requirements in their application.
