About Olive and Otto - 15 week old kittens
Olive and Otto were living on a property with other cats, when they were trapped and
captured. Terrified and not knowing what was happening to them and if they could trust
humans, they were sent to the pound. Luckily, the rangers got in contact with Dog Rescue
Newcastle to see if they could help find Olive and Otto a loving forever home, together.
Since they have been in their foster home, Olive and Otto have learnt that humans can be
trusted. They have learnt to accept and reciprocate love and affection.
Things to know about Olive and Otto:-
Once trust is achieved, they are very loving and affectionate. Great lap cats who
especially love human beds;
They love each other and are quite attached and dependent upon the other;
They are very vocal and love to greet you with a meow. They are also big purr
machines when having a cuddle;
They currently live with two other cats in their foster home, who they are starting to
play with;
Like all siblings, they can get irritated with each other, especially Olive. Otto is very
respectful of Olive’s space and will leave her alone when she gets upset with him;
They need a home where their family are patient and can give them the time they
need to become familiar with their humans and environment;
They would be happiest living with a family who have older children, or children who
can respect that they can be timid and loud noises scare them;
They love to sleep snuggled up next to each other on a soft, fluffy bed;
They love their food. If their human takes too long in preparing it, they verbally let
them know;
They are indoor cats only. Otto is beginning to go for small walks in the backyard
with a harness on;
They are litter trained;
They are both microchipped, vaccinated, and desexed, which is all included in their
adoption fee;
They are living in the Morisset area and are hoping to meet you soon!
