About Matilda
Tilda (Matilda) loves to run, and chase new friends, but comes flying back to a call of "Tilda and Tilly", or "hey", ears flat against her head and tongue flailing in the wind!
Tilda is good with children, other dogs and loves humans.
She likes cats a bit too much to safely live with one. So no cats please.
She is active both mentally and physically and needs her entertainment and exercise needs met daily.
She will let you know if there is someone 'new' around, but is quick to relax when she knows they are friendly.
Tilda is looking for her forever home full of love and commitment to her needs and training. She has spent the first few years of her life as an inside dog, so her new family will need to be happy to have a heartbeat at their feet and an extra shadow. She prefers not to spend much time alone outside and will need this to be encouraged if that's to be expected of her. She is a comfort and company seeker!
She has been living with two make Kelpies who are full of energy, and she has loved keeping up with them, so a home with other dogs would be great, or a human companion that works from home to give her the attention she craves.
She has plenty of kelpie sass and will communicate exactly what she is thinking. She will “talk back”, give side eye, smile with her whole body and let you know just what she wants. She is very expressive. It's both cute and challenging! This is a dog looking for a new partner and not a part time one either! She wants all the action and attention there is to be had! She is funny, intelligent, willful, loyal, playful and full of character. She is quite the perfect little lady.
