• A quiet indoor / outdoor lifestyle where they will be provided with the occasional gentle walk and a game of fetch in the yard.
• A loving and inclusive home where they will spend their retirement being spoiled

Bobby Barnes (m12) and Daisy Barnes (f6) came into our care when the owners could no longer look after them.

A loving pair who were outside dogs their entire life, they were flea ridden with patches of missing hair. It took a good wash and after surgery to remove 20 teeth for Bobby Barnes and 12 for Daisy Barnes they started to really enjoy and love life.

They love being inside dogs and like nothing better than to snuggle up in the loungeroom on their beds. They were not toilet trained in the past but having learned how to use a doggy door, accidents are becoming rare. They also have begun to learn just how good it is going for a walk.

Where one is, the other isn’t far behind. Bobby Barnes loves to fetch a ball and Daisy Barnes loves to tease him with it. They are a pleasure and love cuddles with humans and each other.

We have had some food issues with Bobby Barnes and the resident dogs, not each other. As an older dog, Bobby Barnes is struggling more with the new environment than Daisy Barnes but is slowly beginning to trust his new environment and carers. Bobby Barnes grumbles when unsure, scared or is out of his comfort zone. His insecurity has improved in only a couple of weeks but will need time and patience to overcome his uncertainties. Despite his insecure nature, he is a lovely boy and will blossom in a loving home.

Daisy Barnes takes thyroxin and Bobby Barnes an analgesic for a back problem, but they are otherwise healthy.

If you are looking for loving company you won’t go further than Bobby and Daisy Barnes. They would suit going to a retired person at home, someone who could spend a lot of time with them. While they do love a walk, a short walk is enough to keep these dogs exercised. You will not have to look any further for love than Bobby and Daisy Barnes .
