Looking for a super sweet, smoochy, slobbery girl ?? Meet Khiva!

This smooshy face girl is an absolute sweetheart. Gentle, placid, chilled and also very playful & energetic with the right doggy companions. Khiva enjoys many games of chase, rumbles, tuggy and bitey face with her foster siblings and will play for hours each day.

Nothing quite like a long nap in the sun after an exhausting play session, and Khiva has her favourite spot on the lounge for a well earned snooze. She's usually side by side with her foster brother in all things dog.

Super affectionate with no sense of personal space, this girl will always be wanting to sit by you (or on you) for a cuddle and pat. Deeply bonding with her humans is in her nature as is her want to be naturally protective over them. Khiva will alert at the slightest sign of trouble and tell whoever or whatever that she knows they're there with a deep, rumbly bark.

Khiva loves other dogs and has been around livestock with no issues. She's lived with small children and is fabulous with them too. As a robust, strong dog, she will need a strong handler as she can pull on lead. She has good recall and general manners inside / outside the house, sleeps well during the night, is great in the car and can be a little jumpy when excited.

We are looking for an experienced home that has previously had Mastiffs and understands their natural protective nature and deep devotion. It's preferable she has another good, robust playmate at home or at least the opportunity for this every day and has her humans around most days. Inside with her family is her place and Khiva is not an outside dog left alone all day.

As she has an energetic side, you will need to offer a good daily walk, doggy playtime and loads of family cuddles. You should be committed to meeting her physical and mental stimulation needs, doing some ongoing training / leash work and wanting to form a strong connection as a family. Khiva requires a good quality diet as heavy dogs are prone to joint issues in later life, so starting her on supplements now is a good idea.

No units or homes with a lot of stairs, this girl needs space and a nice yard with grass.
