Minky

Minky is just about the sweetest little pony we have ever known. When she was brought to RSPCA Animal Care Centre, she had overgrown hooves, and it has been a long process with the staff working alongside the Vets and the Farrier, to get her to the point where we can find her a new home.

The day we fist saw her start to frollick in the paddock, kicking her heels up like a young foal, was the day we knew she was on the road to recovery.

As a very gentle pony, we feel that Minky could be around children under supervision, and its possible she could be trained to saddle or harness. She will need an experienced owner who can be absolutely dedicated to regular hoof care, and not allow her to gain too much weight. We don't want her to end up back in the sad situation she was.
