About Rev DL2709
Rev sounds like ''Rêve'' in French. How fitting that it translates to "dream", as he is truly a dream!
Everything Rev does, he does so very gently; eating his food, taking treats from your hands, walking on the lead. He is just the most sweet, placid, and quiet gentleman.
Rev cannot get enough neck scratches, he loves it so much. If you scratch the right spot, his leg will start kicking away. Banana is one of his favourite treats and he is always keen for a walk.
In fact, Rev will take as many walks as he can get! He loves riding in the car with you and going on regular outings. He loves to be out & about; going to the park, cafe, and he enjoyed making friends at the greyhound fun day.
Rev is lovely with people and friendly with other dogs. He can be a bit scared of other dogs barking (bless him!), but he isn't reactive at all.
Rev has met cats briefly in a controlled setting (such as at the vet) and showed only curiosity towards them. But when they're running around, he'd like to chase, so best to stick with a home with no small animals.
Rev is a quiet and sensitive boy. He’s happiest in an environment with relaxed, laid-back vibes where he can just chill out and enjoy his golden years. He has previously lived with kids, but we’re sure he’d love a quieter home to retire in.
Rev stays on lead while exploring open areas, so that he doesn’t wander off. However, he has been green collar approved, which means he is not legally required to wear a muzzle in public.
When he's not out on adventures with you, Rev likes to rest on his bed indoors. He has just started joining his foster mum on the couch and it truly warms our hearts! We can’t wait to find Rev a place where he can make himself at home.
You will fall in love with Rev the moment you meet him! Email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Rev has recently had a dental to remove some teeth and is recovering from a toe injury. He does have a little weight to gain as he recovers. As is common in greyhounds, Rev does have frequent stools on walks, though this is easily handled by carrying doggy bags.
