• An experienced home with a firm understanding of dog body language.
• A home where his humans can provide patience, stability of routine and predictability.
• No children, cats, pocket pets or large dogs please.

Darling Gowrie is looking for a very particular home.

Gowries past has left him with a fear of unpredictability.

When he feels safe he is a gorgeous, lovable, super happy boy, who loves to shadow his human.

He will nuzzle into you and wriggle onto your lap and if he can he will happily fall asleep with you on your bed.

He loves couch cuddles and gentle pats, but is wary of firm pats and very frightened of rough play.

Although Gowrie adores his walks, an off lead dog park could be overwhelming for him, so if you are looking for a dog park kind of dog - Gowrie is not the guy for you.

Gowrie loves car travel, hiking and paddling in water. He is toilet trained, sits nicely for treats and takes them gently from you. He is energetic, playful and loves his toys!

It's essential Gowries person/people are calm, kind, patient and above all predictable.

They will need to understand a dogs body language to ensure he feels safe.

Gowrie loves company but would not be suited to a home with children, cats, small animals or large dogs.
