• Zemi will do well in a family home where she will have plenty of understanding, patience and time
• A family home committed to ongoing training and socialisation
• A home with another dog and/or owners who are home most of the time

Pretty Zemi is an adorable 1 year old mixed breed.

From the minute Zemi arrived into foster care, her tail was wagging and it has not stopped since. Happiest and friendliest of girls, her foster Mum thinks she should have been named after a lolly as she is the sweetest pooch around.

This pretty petite girl (24kgs) is an active smoocher who is looking for an active family who can keep up with her. She would not suit a backyard only lifestyle, she would become bored and destructive. Zemi needs plenty of stimulation in the form of training, regular exercise and plenty of outdoor adventures, playtime and interactions with her new family. Secure high fencing is essential in Zemis new home as if she hears something of interest, she will look at how to investigate. As Zemi is from rural Victoria, she is wary of new street noises and sounds so her new family needs to be patient and committed to on going positive training and exposure.

Zemi gets along famously with her foster fur brother and will do well with another dog around to guide and reassure her. She must be allowed inside to spend time with her people. Zemi adores her human siblings, 12 and 13 year olds but can be quite boisterous so clear boundaries and direction will be essential.

In her short time in foster care, Zemi has mastered basic training and is toilet trained. Further work is needed with her on lead. Zemi loves playing with appropriate doggy toys, her foster fur brother and loves a cuddle on the couch with her human foster family. She is still a pup which sees her chewing on various things, zooming at the drop of a hat and bringing you treasures to approve. Her curious nature has seen her explore every square inch of her foster family’s home both inside and out. She is a confident pup when comfortable with her surroundings and continued positive exposure to suburban life and its experiences will see her beautiful temperament grow into a loving adult member of her new family.

Zemi had previously been living with another female dog and currently a male dog. Continued work and training will be required to build Zemis confidence when being left home alone or home alone with another dog. Her foster parents have been working from home so she has not been left for any extended amounts of time. Zemi has not been tested on cats.
