About Kenai
Kenai is a gorgeous (and I mean George Clooney levels of gorgeous) black and white boy who needs a new furever home through no fault of his own. Just over a year old, he’s got a whole lifetime of love to give, and is already shaping up to be a pretty darn awesome lad.
Kenai is a very inquisitive pup and is a delightful goofball. He loves to play, is good with kids (especially older ones) and interaction with his people.
He’s a good boy who loves his walks, and uses his curiosity about the world to sniff and interact with new things. Storms don’t worry him, he’s not a noisy barker, and we do know he’s tried a bit of digging – that said, he was just trying to make friends with the dog next door, and hasn’t tried to escape.
He’s had limited training but has soaked up everything he’s learned so far, and we know – with his marvellously curious nature – he’s going to be a great learner of new tricks and behaviours.
Kenai has had limited interactions with other dogs thanks to COVID-19, but he’s friendly, fun and will be a delightful addition to an active, interactive household.
Kenai would suit a home with older children
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats and pocket pets, 6ft+ dig-proof fences and lots of love.
If you think you can give Kenai his perfect home, please complete an application on our website https://homesforhuskies.org.au/adopt/

* Please read the profile of the dog you are interested in carefully and ensure you are a suitable match for the dog you are applying for before completing an application to save disappointment.
* Completing the adoption application does NOT hold you to adopting the dog.
* Do your research on Siberian Husky breed and traits to make an informed decision that a Husky is the right dog for you
* Our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
* Siberian Huskies are NOT suitable for apartment living, rural properties or residences with court yards.
