Leaving his racing career behind in his tracks Elmore as grown quite used to life as a house pet. This friendly guy loves to cuddle up to you and will frolic at the opportunity to chase his favourite toy.

Once he has grown used to his new home his calm disposition leaves him curled up watching the world go by, until he has not seen you for a while and will come to check everything is okay. Elmore is house trained, responded well to children and behaves very well when receiving a bath or care. He is a quiet dog that does not bark but has not been tested with cats and requires a home with no pocket-pets. Elmore would suit apartment living with frequent walks.

He is learning to not pull on the lead while walking and interacts well with other dogs. Elmore is a sighthound and may fixate while out for a walk but can be redirected if you divert his attention. Elmore did not like getting into cars but has grown increasingly confident and will now happily go for a drive to the local park. He quickly settles and will lounge out once comfortable. Elmore is a counter surfer but has learnt “No” and will stop when told.

Elmore is a calm companion who has great potential to become a member of your family and would like to have a compatible resident dog friend. He needs a home that is committed to ongoing training and socialization to ensure he grows into a well-mannered dog. This guy has the very best nature and deserves a loving, warm home where he is treated like family.
