Dakota is a beautiful girl with a lot of love to give. She will be your shadow and your couch companion, and is always ready to snuggle.

Dakota falls in love hard and will prefer to be the only love in your life. She will miss you when you're gone and shower you with affection when you're home. Dakota can be cautious of some people, particularly men, and will need patience as she adjusts to her new home and people.

Dakota is learning how to play and enjoys her plush squeaky toys. She has displayed magpie tendencies, collecting an item of clothing or a pair of glasses belonging to her foster mum, and taking them to her bed where she lays down with them.

When her favourite human is gone for long periods she has shown some distress, despite other dogs and people being present, and will prefer someone who can be home regularly or can include her in their daily activities.

Dakota is learning basic training and developing boundaries which will need to be continued to help her to feel safe and happy in her forever home.
