Cisco

If you’re after a real snuggly, cuddly love bug who has a love for play then Cisco might be your lady.

Cisco will do absolutely anything for a cuddle and has been loving having her carers home during lockdown. She is very affectionate, but her new owners should also implement time away from her people so she learns to be content in her own company.

Due to her young age and lockdown, she has only been around her family, litter mate and furry foster sister. She is a social butterfly within the confines of her own, but her new family will have to get creative on how to socialise Cisco with the current restrictions. Interested families will need to demonstrate having thoroughly thought through the problems that come with adopting a puppy during lockdown and have solutions to avoid raising an under socialised and very dependant puppy.

Doing well with her basic training and her toilet training is coming along nicely for her age. Of course her new owners should be prepared for accidents as she is still young. She loves a cuddle before bed with her humans but is sleeping well in her pen at night with her sibling.

Cisco is expected to be of moderate to higher energy levels - she is definitely not going to be a couch potato, but not as energetic as a working breed. She will need a good amount of daily exercise - one walk around the block is not going to fulfill this girl. Her new owner should be committed to enrolling in puppy school or obedience classes to further her education, socialisation and help strengthen the bond between owner and pup.

We believe Cisco will be able to fit into a range of families due to her sweet nature. She currently lives with dog savvy children so would be ok in a home with children, given they have doggy experience and are appropriately behaved around her.

Due to covid restrictions we will not be looking to place her with novice dog owners due to the challenges in raising a puppy during lockdown. She would do well with either another confident and well socialised dog as a companion or someone home more often than not. She will need a warm, comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
