Mr Meowgi 🐈‍⬛

This handsome, friendly and affectionate boy has been named Mr Meowgi, because he loves to have a chat and tell you all about his day 😉

We don’t have a lot of details about his past, but we do know that he was found wandering the streets and handed into one of our lovely vets, who scanned him, contacted his ‘owners’ and told to take him to the pound because they no longer wanted him 😢 Well that didn’t happen! This boy has way too much character and love to give to be discarded…..he needed 8 teeth removed at the time he was surrendered, so who knows what his diet consisted of 😞

For the past 7 weeks, he has been our foster boy and captured the hearts of everyone in our home. He loves to be held and will often curl up in your lap for snuggles. He has been a constant companion for my daughter while in lockdown, and adapting extremely well to being an inside only cat. We have started lead/harness training for outdoor time, but he’s still not so sure about that 😍

He’s still a young boy at just 4yrs of age, but out of the crazy kitten stage. He’s quite content watching what’s happening outside from the window, playing in his tunnel, or chasing the mouse tail of his FAVOURITE toy. Meowgi also enjoys chasing balls around the floor when he’s in the mood for some exercise. Otherwise, he’s a very chilled boy who just adores his humans and loves the companionship they provide…..

Mr Meowgi is currently living as an only cat and has had some exposure to dogs (currently living with 4, but only had minimal interaction face to face). He’s quite happy to sit and watch them through the window. He has not been exposed to young children during his time in care, but been fantastic with teenagers, so would ideally suit a home with older children (or no kids). He won’t mind if you need to work, as long as he’s the centre of your world when you get home 🏠

Favourite Food: Optimum (Furball) with chicken dry food or Royal Canin dry. He’s not been a fan of wet food (and trust me, I’ve tried him with LOTS)

Litter Trained: Yes!

Due to current restrictions in place, we are looking to Rehome this gorgeous boy on the Coast and to protect both yourselves and our carers, we will be asking you to undertake a COVID test and provide a NEGATIVE result within 3 days of a meet/adoption 🥰 Mr Meowgi is located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast NSW.
