Cosmo needs a fur buddy and partner in crime. This young kitty with a big personality has been in foster care with kittens who have all found their homes – so now it’s Cosmo’s turn to find his happily ever after story.

But it’s not just any home that is suitable for this boy. Cosmo needs a family who are willing to adhere to the special dietary requirements* (detailed below in medical notes) he has.

Cosmo was diagnosed with cystitis when he was about 10 weeks old. He had a course of injections to treat it, and has been cleared by our vet. However, cystitis can reoccur, although our vet is also reasonably confident it won’t.

Having the right diet is important to keep Cosmo well. He can eat most wet cat food - but he cannot eat dry cat food. So you will need to feed him separately from any other cats you have.

If you are prepared to take a chance on Cosmo, here is what you will get. Cosmo is a beautiful tuxedo (complete with exceptionally long tail) who has a huge personality. There is never a dull moment with this lad around.

Cosmo has taken zoomies to a new level. Every day is an adventure, and Cosmo needs to share this with a fur buddy. He is not suited to being your only pet or to living in a home where he will be left alone for long periods.

Inquisitive and intelligent, Cosmo can also be naughty but it is impossible not to forgive him when he jumps on your lap, gives you a cheeky smile and then settles in for some serious cat love.

Cosmo is so affectionate; he is full of hugs, indulges in much gazing into your eyes and, of course, he has a big, beautiful purr to match. Everything Cosmo does is big! He also needs to share everything he does, and he expects his human to share likewise.

Cosmo has lost his companions (foster care pals have been adopted) and is the last to look for his people. He is very lonely and really missing a playmate. So if your kitty is in need of a really fun friend then Cosmo is the one.

Cosmo would suit a family with older children, or a couple/family looking for a best buddy for their kitty. He has been in care with a dog, so he would be find with a small, cat-friendly dog if introduced slowly over time.
