This beautiful princess is 4 years and 3 months old, and really maturing into an incredibly loving, clever and very playful lady. She loves playing fetch with a tennis ball (although she doesn’t often like bringing it back to you!). She also has an abundance of soft toys and loves to carry them around with her. She is incredibly intelligent and quick witted, very interested in the world she lives and quick to learn. She will show natural curiosity and loves to be a part of almost all things.
She loves all adults, giving each person a big cuddle as soon as they enter the home and is always happy to greet visitors. She doesn’t like young children in her space, so we will not consider a home with children under 12. She does not warm to many dogs and can be very reactive to some dogs. It is quite unpredictable which dogs she doesn’t like, so it is important that her new owner is strong enough to handle her when out on walks. She has grown up with, and lives with a cat, but we cannot automatically be sure she will accept another cat in the same way. She has also lived with another dog in the past, but we will not consider her to go with a female dog.
While out on a daily walk, which she will most definitely require in her new home, she is a dreamboat on the lead, walking beautifully with her handler…well until she sees another dog that she doesn’t like that is. With more training she has the potential to improve further in this department.
At home she is an absolute delight. She’s so loving, affectionate and entertaining company. Always happy to come snuggle down on the floor with you if you like or hop on her couch and chill out in her favourite upside-down pose. She especially loves to sleep in her big fluffy pink snuggle bed with her blanket tucked around her and teddy by her side. She really loves mealtimes, especially if it includes Chicken or Kangaroo! Treats are a must as well, she will never say no to a piece of duck or chicken jerky. She is extremely polite around food, she has some manners, knows basic commands and is not destructive.
She would enjoy property to romp around on and play ball with you. She’s not a fence jumper and doesn’t chase stock. She would need to be supervised around the smaller animals until she proves she can be relaxed when they are on the move and she becomes familiar with a new environment.
We’re looking for a home where the lifestyle is such that her inability to sociallise well with other dogs is of no concern, as in all other areas, she is the most delightful girl you’ll ever meet.
