Mischa

Mischa’s personality:
Mischa is a sweet and loving doggy, who adores humans and loves to play with her K9 buddies. She is playful and inquisitive in nature and loves nothing more than to snuggle on the couch. Mischa is an active and energetic girl and loves running on the beach or at the park with her friends. She is a true peacemaker and is very skilled in avoiding conflict. Mischa can be fearful of new surroundings and people, however it doesn’t take long to win her over. She’s so sweet and just wants to be loved.

Mischa’s ideal forever home:
Mischa will do best in a home where she will have plenty of company, affection, reassurance, and attention. Preferably a home that isn’t too loud or busy. With this in mind, a home with children aged 10+ would suit. She enjoys the companionship of another K9 buddy and will enjoy being included in family outings and activities. Mischa’s doggy friend would ideally help her to realise that she has nothing to worry about, helping to grow her confidence so that her fantastic personality can shine. Mischa is eager to please and would love to continue learning with training.

Mischa’s story:
Mischa has never actually had her own home. She has had “owners” but has lived as a community doggy. She is now in a foster home and is thriving. She has had to more or less fend for herself but thankfully had some kind and caring community workers who helped to care for her during the day.

More about Mischa:
Mischa has had a bit of a rough start to life. As we already mentioned, she has lived mainly in the community and so has had to fend for herself and be street smart. Because of this, Mischa can be a touch shy in the first few moments of meeting her but takes no time at all to settle in and open her heart to her new friends.

Mischa loves humans and doggies. We don’t think she has ever played before coming into our care. We have watched her become more and more interested in playing, to the point where she has literally been itching to jump in and play, but not sure how to initiate it all. She has learnt quickly and is now often the first to start the play bowing and chasing.

Mischa has settled into her beautiful foster home so well. She goes to the beach (also a first time experience), to the dog park and runs on the golf course with her K9 brother Judah. Mischa is a very special girl, who deserves a very special home.
