About Spitfire Red
Spitfire Red came into our care after he was found wandering the streets on his own. He was almost immediately named Spitfire as it appropriately suited his attitude! He is a feisty little character who has a ton of energy and is always wanting to play. He gets bored very easily. When he finally tires himself out all he wants is cuddles! Spitfire is super affectionate and loves nothing more than snuggling up on a warm lap or sucking on a nice soft blanket. He loves giving face smooches and head bops also. Spitfire has grown up with a variety of other foster cats and kittens & 3 rowdy Bengals so he is well socialised. Spitfire would be best suited to someone looking for a friend for their dog to play with, or have an older cat who they are worried about getting a kitten for due to aggressive play. Never fear, this little Spitfire can handle his own! He loves a bit rough play, and would be very lonely as an only cat so he will need to be adopted with one of his foster brothers or sisters or have another pet to play with. Spitfire has been raised on a healthy raw fed diet & has had all of his vet work done including vaccinations, microchip, desexing, flea and worm treated.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
