About Abbie ~ 5yr Old Kelpie X
Abbie is a sweet and playful 5 year old Kelpie X. Officially she crossed with Labrador but we think the mailman may have been a Staffy! Abbie is looking for a home who will give her time and patience to allow her bright personality to shine!
Abbie is very much a people dog and bonds strongly to her person. She loves cuddles and is a very friendly girl once she gets to know you. Abbie is nervous in new situations and looks to her person for support and reassurance when she is worried.
Abbie currently lives with another dog with no issues however she is very nervous around new dogs. Abbie can often bark and try to hide when she sees another dog, however this is simply because she’s scared! Abbie is looking for a family with no other dogs so she can be comfortable and secure in her new home.
Abbie has some basic obedience including sit and a reliable recall, and may benefit from ongoing obedience training, particularly walking on the lead. She has lots of energy and would love to get out for daily walks or would also make a great running buddy!
Abbie is looking for a family who is patient and understanding that she is an anxious dog and will need time and training to help her feel safe and secure. Abbie needs a home with no other animals or small children.
To register your interest in adopting Abbie you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or for more information please contact Darcy at darcy.drn@outlook.com
Abbie’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, and she's been treated for fleas and worms. Abbie currently lives in Maitland area, NSW.
