About Jonesy
Jonesy has had a tough start in life - born on the streets, a bad case of cat flu, and a broken leg to top it off. But he hasn't let any of that get him down, because Jonesy is one of the sweetest cats you'll meet.
An exuberant, affectionate cuddle bug, who will take any opportunity to jump in your lap, crawl on your shoulders, and shower you with licks and headbutts. He gets along well with the resident cats, and while untested with dogs and kids, we think he'd do fine in most households. He is a bit of an attention seeker though, so wouldn't do well being left alone for long periods (unless he has another cat buddy for company).

Medical notes
Adopters should be aware that Jonesy has recovered from a broken femur. While the break is not an ongoing issue, he has potential medium-long term concerns around his left hip.
He has had vet and podiatric specialist consultations for his leg, and at this time amputation has not been recommended due to his excellent mobility. However, it may be the best option for him in the future if his hip causes him ongoing pain or mobility loss.
Jonesy is an absolutely sweet boy who would be a delight in any home, but he also needs an adopter who can make the necessary decisions around what's best for his health.
You've probably also noticed he has a cloudy eye; this is just mild tissue scarring from having cat flu. It makes him a little squinty, but otherwise doesn't affect his health.
