Brutus is a gentle giant, he is soft and sweet and loves a snooze , loves a snack, loves to play ball. Brutus has loved with a small dog before but we don’t know about cats. He is quite big so we would suggest bugger kids only.
Brutus loves his bed and is great to walk.
He is long haired and would need regular brushing.

A message from Brutus’s carer
🍪He is warm, gentle natured dog. Very calm.
🍪He is great walking on a lead.
🍪He may bark a little at other dogs but is not aggressive, more inquisitive bark. Need to say "leave" for him to leave the dog alone.
🍪I haven't seen him spray a pole or a tree while out walking.
🍪He isn't fussed with loud noises.
🍪He can sometimes be unsure with new things so needs a bit of encouragement.
🍪He is well mannered and doesn't snap at food. Waits until food is placed in front of him.
🍪He is well toilet trained. WIll go to the same spot most of the time. He doesn't cock his leg as most male dogs do which is great.
🍪He can go up and down external stairs, but may need some encouragement every now and then.
🍪He isn't good on internal stairs, especially if they are polished timber steps. He may be better on carpeted stairs.
🍪He loves people company and going for walks. I have been taking him at 6.30am, midday and 5.30pm every day.
🍪He likes to have his dinner after his early evening walk, usually around 6.30pm'ish. He loves to then sleep after dinner.
🍪He loves playing fetch with a toy or a ball.
🍪Loves going for rides in the car, prefers the window to be down so he can look outside. 🍪Walking an hour in the morning and he seems ok with it.
🍪Loves sleeping on his mattress.
🍪He loves his sleep, especially after his big walks.
🍪He likes his food warmed up a little, not cold from the fridge.
🍪Key words that he understands are: Stay, Come, Heal, Good Boy, Bed Time, Leave, Eatup/Dinner, On your mat, Lie Down, Back, OK Let's Cross, Walk
Medical notes
Brutus has a very slight limp which we are monitoring and suspect it is only a bruise.
This is all we know.
