MARVIN ❤❤

Cat Friendly - Yes
Dog Friendly - Yes
Child Friendly - Older children only
Smooch Scale - Smoochy and loving once he trusts you, can be nervous initially with unfamiliar people.
Location - Deception Bay QLD 4508

Medical Notes - Marvin had bad cat flu as a kitten. He has had the occasional mild flare up during stressful events (after desexing and vaccinations). Marvin occasionally gets mild eye irritation and needs a couple of days of eye drops to settle them down (these drops will come with him).
Marvin joined our rescue as a tiny 3 week old baby with his 7 siblings. He was a little smaller than his siblings, and he went through a couple of weeks where he struggled to gain weight. His siblings have all found their forever homes, and we have our paws crossed that Marvin's family will find him soon.
Marvin is a sweet and gentle boy who bonds very closely with his selected humans. He enjoys your company, but is also independent and can entertain himself when needed. He can be a little standoffish at first if he doesn't know you, and he prefers the company of more settled and gentle humans. Marvin would suit a home with a single or couple who are looking for a cat to bond closely with them. He wouldn't be suited to a home with young children. Marvin is extremely cat friendly and spends lots of his day playing, cuddling, and grooming his feline friends. He would be best suited to a home with another young and friendly cat who is looking for a companion. Marvin would be okay in a home with a friendly dog if introduced correctly.
Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a meet and greet with our fluffy Marvin. 🐾
Adoption details
If you would like to know more information about any of our rescue animals, our rescue group, or to arrange a meet and greet, please email us. Please provide us with your name, email address, contact number, and some information about yourself, and the home you have to offer one of our rescue animals.
About us:
Gary and the Handicats Rescue is run soley by a Vet Nurse who works shift work and also cares for sick and high needs rescue animals. We strive to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy kitten seasons there may be a delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note we do not run on a "first in first served" basis. We screen applicants well before proceeding with adoption. Vet and rental references may be required for certain special needs adoptions.
We receive a large amount of interest in our handraised kittens, and certain special needs animals. Please understand that if you're application isn't successful, this may just be due to the amount of applications we have had for that particular animal, and not because of the home you have to offer. Preference is always given to our past adopters.
Meet and Greets:
• Meet and greets are held in an environment where the particular cat or kitten feels most comfortable.
• Please do not bring your own animals to a meet and greet.
• We do not allow any of our animals to be taken home on the day of the meet and greet. Special circumstances may be considered.
Picking up you're new family member:
• You MUST bring a safe, secure, and size appropriate carrier for your baby to travel home in. We do not have carriers to provide new adopters, and we will not send home one of our rescue animals in a cardboard box or a washing basket. If a carrier isn't able to be provided, your adoption will be cancelled.
