About Winston
~~ Please Read the entire profile before inquiring ~~
Meet Winston, an 11 week old toy poodle. We will be only taking the details of the first three people who contact us for Winston. Winston was surrendered to us as he has some serious health issues. He has Bilateral Microphthalmus (cataracts in his left eye and completely blind in this eye) he is likely to have ongoing issues due to this and will possibly need the eye to be removed in the future.
His Ear openings are smaller than usual but he seems to be able to hear just fine. As both of these conditions are congenital he may have other issues we are unaware of that are not currently noticeable.
Please keep in mind that he will have these issues his whole life and may present with some other health issues in the future, which will most likely get expensive.
If you are able to offer Winston a new forever home please contact the girls on 02 4304 4350 or 0499 900 272 after 11am today (6/8/21).
Medical notes
Bilateral Microphthalmus with ocular issues - can see cataract Left eye - congenital issues likely. Ear openings smaller than normal.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
