Hi my name is Maddison and I’m looking for humans to adopt me that love me as much as my foster carers do. I have a lot of love to give, I live up to the sheep dogs name 'a man/womans best friend'!

I am very clever and a quick learner. I am very alert and can be highly stressed at times. I am great at listening except when there is a lot going on, like an outdoor setting where there is lots of people or dogs around. I used to bark my head off at dogs on walks, but a water spray bottle is my weakness, so since my foster human has been using this in my training, I no longer growl.

I am an active dog who loves playing fetch and going for walks, so I would like an active family. I get really excited when I go for walks, so I tend to pull on the lead, but I have improved so much in just two weeks. I am house trained, and listen to basic commands (sit, stay, lay down).

I love snuggles, so much so that if my humans let me, I’ll crawl onto their laps, and nuzzle my nose in; I just love to be as close as I can be to my family members. I am still learning permission of when I can and can't be on the couch or the bed. Once again, the spray bottle has been working a charm for my humans, they don't even need to spray it, just the look of it stops me doing anything they don't want me to.

I am great with kids but am unsure about other dogs at the moment, so I would love a home where I am the only pet. I don't love to be left on my own, I'm not destructive but I will bark and cry if I know my humans are close by. I would love a family who will let me be around them all the time when they're home. My neighbours say that I don't bark once my humans have gone to work for the day, but if I see anyone walk by, I'll let them know loud and clear that I'm here. Once my humans are home from work, I will jump and run up and down with excitement as if I haven't seen them in years. I love toys, and I have been learning which are my inside and which are my outside toys, so clever.
