About Bobby
Operation Find Bobby a Home! Bobby is a 1yo Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy x Stumpy tail Cattle dog who was born on the 1st of June 2020.
Bobby is a VERY energetic young man who needs a lot of training as he is still very much showing off his cheeky puppy behaviours. Thankfully he is currently staying at Doggy Daycare Farm Trips undergoing training undergoing training to help him become a normal dog. He is also a very sweet and affectionate boy and leans in to get head and neck rubs. Bobby will need someone who is prepared to give him all the mental and physical stimulation he needs to flourish and to continue his training.
Bobby is learning how to properly socialise with other dogs and although there are still some kinks to work out he is friendly toward them. He would much prefer have all the cuddles and affection to himself though. Bobby can be a little excitable so needs somebody committed to his training and socialization needs. Bobby tested well with Cats and Rabbits, however as our Pocket Pets are in enclosures and not free roaming we suggest you do very slow introductions. Bobby was also tested with free roaming chickens, which would only be ok under supervision and with continued training so both become accustomed with one another's presence.
Bobby does pull and is quite erratic on the lead and again needs somebody committed to training. Doggy Daycare Farm Trips are offering free training to help Bobby thrive and improve in his training and behaviour.
Bobby has not shown signs of separation anxiety, however he does seem to be too bothered by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Bobby is such a handsome and affectionate guy, who would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He is absolutely full of love, and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Bobby will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Bobby's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and 6 x discounted training lessons with thanks to Dog Ed Daycare & Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
