Grommit is a chilled out puppy who loves a snuggle and a nap, but is just as happy doing zoomies around the yard with a doggy friend. Although still young, Grommit will be quite a big dog as evidenced by his large paws! He can run like the wind and will need a family who is happy to take him exploring often to use up all his puppy energy.
Grommit loves to chew on plush toys and is still learning that doesn’t include your stinky socks on the floor! He is currently undertaking basic training. He is very food motivated and always leaves his bowl licked clean. He is very happy with absolutely any food he might be lucky enough to persuade you to part with! He doesn’t like other dogs going near his food as he really doesn’t want to share, every morsel is for his little tummy not theirs!
Grommit currently lives with other dogs and loves to play rough and tumble with them, and enjoys playing chasey around the yard. He also lives with two cats and isn’t bothered by them. Grommit has met children and loved them, he is still learning to not jump up but he quickly gets the message when told ‘no’.
He is crate-trained and toilet-trained, and sleeps in his crate overnight. If he needs to go out during the night he’ll happily let you know and then will trot right back into his crate like a very good boy.
Grommit will require 6ft secure fencing, enough yard for him to run around in and frequent walks. He is a very good boy who is looking for the perfect family to love.
