Bella

Bella is a beautiful five year old female mixed breed with a loyal and friendly (but not overbearing) nature. Bella has grown up with another dog and is used to being inside or out but prefers to be inside with her family of course.

Bella will bark when there is another dog passing the property or if there is someone approaching the property, however she will stop when they have moved on or told be quiet. She can also be a bit of a talker when she gets excited or if you are giving her enough attention.

Bella is affectionate and can follow basic commands. She is house trained and can sleep indoors overnight as long as she is given an opportunity to go outside prior to bedtime. She does get excited when it’s time for her daily outing which usually consists of an off lead run (up to 5km in one of the reserves), however she is happy to be walked on a lead which she does well.

Bella is great with bigger kids but will avoid smaller children and does not like cats. She is friendly with other dogs and loves to socialise and play. Bella also loves her morning treats and sees this as a give and take relationship, you give her a scratch and she will take your treat. Whilst Bella loves to run after toys but she doesn’t see the point of bringing them back.
Whilst Bella is energetic she is just as happy being settled inside and will be happy to claim the most comfortable spot on the couch if allowed.

Bella would be suited to a family without smaller children or cats, other dogs is fine but most importantly a family who have the time to exercise her as well as include her in family life.
