About Pirate
What is Pirate's favourite letter in the alphabet? RRRRRR! Pirate is a sweet chunky little man. An English Staffy x American Staffy born on 3rd of April, 2016, Pirate is looking forward to finding his happy ever after.
Pirate is a sweet little man! He loves being around people and is super affectionate seeking cuddles.
Pirate is not fussed by dogs at all, he's just happy to have a bit of a sniff then wants to move on to the next person or dog. He sometimes sooks if a dog or person doesn't come to say hello. Pirate tested well with Cats, but not chickens and Rabbits. Our cats are not free roaming so they would need a slow introduction.
Pirate thoroughly enjoys going out walking and exploring the world around him hoping to meet new people and dogs.
He shows no signs of food aggression, but does show signs of separation anxiety and he can be startled by loud noises, so he would need to be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Pirate loves nothing more than to show affection with all different people and with patience, training and consistency would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Pirate will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
We have noticed that Pirate's right eye seems to be quite reflective so may have issues. This will be checked during his desexing appointment and vet health check.
Pirate's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and discounted training thanks to Dog Ed Daycare & Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
