JACK was known as Jack Arby but he was retired young because he just didn't like the track. Jack is a big friendly giant. He is best suited for someone who is a homebody, a family, or someone with another play pal. He loves attention and follows his foster mum around everywhere whenever she’s home. He comes when he’s called, He gets along well with other dogs, currently living with a playful kelpie and an older lazy greyhound.
Jack loves his pats and quality time, but equally enjoys having another dog around. He’s been around small children and is initially timid but then inquisitive and gentle. His downfalls are.. he loves to steal shoes, not a chewer just a hoarder. He gets a little growly around food with other dogs but never with his foster carer. He doesn’t know his size, so put your glasses and food up high or he’ll stick his snoot in them. He’s quite a big boy, so despite how gentle he is with children he could potentially knock them over as he’s a bit dopey, often walking into things in the house. Jack is still adjusting to the big wide world and is scared of loud noises, guitars, TV’s and beach waves. We’re still working on those. He takes a little while to warm up to people and hides away but can be won over with liver treats and pats. Cats untested but he has seen one on his walk and seemed unphased.
