💛🤍 MEET GOLD AND SILVER 🤍💛

Gold and Silver are a beautiful brother and sister who had a bit of a rough start to life before Perth Rescue Angels scooped them up. Although they're adapting well to the indoor life of luxury, they’re still a little timid and very wary and aren't the biggest fans of being touched yet.

Of the two, Gold is definitely the more confident and he often leads the way, showing his sister the ropes! However, once they get a feel for their new home and realise they are safe, warm and dry with you, their hearts and souls start to sparkle and their unique, quirky, curious and sassy personalities start shining through.

Nature
🤍 Silver's purrsonality is a whole lot of sweetness, a bit of mystery and a dash of sass. Hiding behind her shy facade is a gorgeous lovebug with a huge heart.

Silver loves sleeping during the day. Her favourite spot is her bed but she also can be found curled up in various warm, dark hidey-holes around the house such as the closet! Just like the moon, she prefers the night and shines the brightest when everyone is asleep and no one is around to see her.

💛 Gold is like the Sun. In his universe, the world revolves around him. He’s lived through the darkness, yet every day he shines again, rain, hail or storm.

Gold's cheeky and curious nature has him following you around the house, staring at you through the doorway, keeping you company while you sleep, study and even go to the toilet! He politely demands your attention - or food - at all times, however, he would appreciate it if you don’t get TOO close, please! He likes to observe the world from a distance and share his warmth from afar - just like the sun.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Gold and Silver would be best suited to a home with older children/teenagers or adults only. They would love a home with one or more other resident or foster cats (with a slow introduction of course) but a home with no other cats would be fine too.

They currently live with a big doggo in their foster home and they’re not bothered by him at all! They would be happy to be slowly introduced to a cat-savvy pooch.

Likes / Dislikes
🤍 Silver LOVES being the princess of the cat-tower, naps in sunbeams, and cuddling with her brother Gold. She loves the nighttime. Around midnight you can find her sitting on top of her tower, staring out the window, seemingly infatuated with the moon. Silver loves exploring and having space to roam, climb and jump around the house.

Silver absolutely loves her biscuits in the morning, afternoon, and wet food in the evening, but her favourite is hot rotisserie chicken out of your hand as a treat - it's definitely the way to her heart!

Silver is a little timid around humans and doesn't enjoy being looked at in the eyes too much or stared at. She also doesn't like big or sudden movements (such as standing up suddenly when you're sitting near her) and will usually run off to her bed if she gets too anxious. She's a little scared of bubbles, the broom, and the vacuum cleaner. She will retreat to her safe space when the vacuum cleaner is running. She also doesn't like to be touched or cornered, but will eat from your hand.

💛 Gold's favourite spot is the window sill - especially every morning and evening where he likes to watch the sunrise and sunset. He's a total sun-lover and loves to soak up the rays and lay anywhere where the sun hits him. He also loves to sit in the bedroom or toilet doorways, and next to your bed or table or sofa - anywhere he can watch you go about your business and observe funny human activities.

Gold loves a good scratch on the chest and behind the ear when being hand-fed dine treats or hot chicken, but if there’s no food in his mouth he would rather you didn’t come too close. Luckily for him, he loves food and is extremely food motivated! He also seems to quite like catnip.

Our PURR-fect home would be with a person, couple or small family who are understanding, patient and accepting of our unique nature and who is willing to give them the gift of true stability and accept them into their furever family unconditionally.

A home with a friendly, confident cat would be a bonus but is not necessary. They'll need lots of love and patience to grow their confidence and are best suited to indoor cats - though access to a secure catio would also be great.
