Adopt a bashful beauty!

Hi there, my name is Misty and I was saved from the streets by the Angels. I had my kittens in care over a year ago but I’m still searching for my own special sanctuary.

Nature
I’m going to be honest – I know my shy nature is what has hindered my adoption chances. I’ve been trying very hard lately to build up my confidence and I’m sure with more one-on-one time I’ll be able to flourish.

In the early days I’d stay in the cat run and then later in the front room only. Now I spend a lot of my time in the main room with my Foster Mum. I’ve been getting closer and closer as she hand-feeds me my favourite treats. I can get a little demanding with my treats, but otherwise I’m the sweetest girl.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with lots of cats and a big doggo. I don’t mind the other cats, but I’m not much of a cuddler. I can be a little cranky if they get between me and my food. I’m fine with the doggo as long as he keeps his distance.

I think I would thrive in an older, quieter home where my hoomans are patient and calm, and can provide me with the bespoke care I need to come out of my shell.

Likes / Dislikes
I absolutely love my food treats. I’m an anxious eater when the other cats are around, so I’m quite slight and need my daily treats. I go bonkers for Dine creamy treats and Temptations. Sometimes I lose myself in my snacks and my Foster Mum sneaks a quick pat in. I’m also the sneakiest of scavengers so don’t leave any chicken nuggets lying around!

My PURR-fect home would be with kind, patient hoomans who understand my peek-a-boo nature and are dedicated to helping me overcome my fears. I’d probably be best in a small space to begin with where I have everything I need – like a bathroom or laundry – to help me feel safe in my own space and so I can’t hide away while we’re getting to know each other.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
