Hi I'm Rooster.

PLEASE READ MY PROFILE CAREFULLY AS I AM A VERY PARTICULAR BOY, LOOKING FOR A VERY PARTICULAR HOME!!!!

When I arrived at the RSPCA, I was a very stinky, unkempt boy who had very sore eyes and was grouchy at the world and everyone in it. Very quickly the staff learnt I was one who needed to be handled with caution and treated very carefully as I am extremely unpredictable.

For my own benefit, I went into foster care where my experienced carer could work with me and my temperamental nature, and learn more about me so I could find to puuuurrrrfect furrrever home!

Although I am a smoochy boy, all my interactions need to be on MY TERMS. I would love to follow you from room to room, keep you company all day long and lay on your lap of an evening. I will accept some pats, but I will tell you in a very abrupt way when I've had too many by swiping at you and baring my teeth. My foster carer has learnt my triggers (don't even get me started on my hatred of phone screens!) and my new family will need to put work into learning them for themselves too! When I am not triggered, I am the best companion you could ever ask for who rarely jumps on benches, loves using my scratching post, bird watches by the window and plays will balls like a small dog!

I cannot live with children due to my unpredictable nature, and I have not been tested with any other animals as my foster carer was a solo adult home.
