Higgins

Higgins is an eight year old tri-merle Koolie, who looks and behaves much younger than his age! With no history other than his age via his microchip, we are still working out his personality. So far it’s clear that he is very timid, probably as a result of limited exposure to the world in his past.

Higgins is toilet trained, he is learning basic commands, doesn’t jump farm fencing and has fairly good recall in a confined space.

Higgins loves being inside with his humans for company and would prefer someone who was home a lot. He would thrive with a female doggy sibling in his new home to give him confidence.

Higgins is not suitable to live with cats. He has learned that chickens are not for chasing and is very well behaved around them.

Higgins is looking for a very patient adopter who will have time to invest in building his confidence. Breed experience would be an added bonus. In return he will give you endless cuddles on the couch or will happily sit and sleep beside you on his mat all day, as long as he’s with you. He isn't suited to inner city living and would prefer a quiet home without children or too much fuss.
