Don't let Nelly's initial nerves fool you! While slow to come around to new faces, she loves people and attention, and is very friendly once you earn her trust. She especially loves pats, and will quickly break into deep purrs when given a scratch around the neck. At this point, Nelly doesn't like being picked up and held, but is starting to enjoy sitting on the laps of those she trusts. She likes a place to hide, but will come out for attention of her own accord, or with a little coaxing. Nelly could live with other quiet pets, but would prefer a quiet house where she has plenty of space to develop a trusting bond with her new family.
