About Oscar
Hello there, my name is Oscar.
I’m a distinguished and handsome boy who doesn’t mind a cuddle now and then.
I came to Silver Lining after having surgery for a urinary blockage, BUT I am all better now and doing really well! I just need to have parents who will make sure I eat all the right foods – vet prescribed – and watch out for stressful situations that could be a trigger.
I’m actually pretty easy going and get on well with my foster siblings. My very favourite pastime is looking out the windows or glass doors and keeping a check on what’s going on outside. Silver Lining only adopt us kitties as indoor-only, but I do love when my foster mum takes me into the yard on a harness, and my idea of heaven would be a cat enclosure where I could spend time outside in safety.
I might be a bit shy at first, but I would love to meet you if you think I would fit into your family!

Adoption details
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial. We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
