About Crispin
Crispin was loved by a lovely grandmother; He would sit and cuddle in her lap all day. But sadly, he has spent a big amount of time outside on his own since her stroke. When she had a stroke, Crispin found himself without a safe secure home. He is 2 yo , comes when called and is always looking for a face rub.
Crispin now loves his cat castle and a cardboard box , they bring him great joy.
He still likes to hide sometimes, so if you leave a door open - under the bed he goes or cupboard ajar - in he goes & he loves his cat tower to climb and hide in too. If you leave a door open by a few cm he will open the rest himself to go where he wants to go
Each day he gets better with noises but is still timid, he has just started sitting on the foster carers lap at night then when we go to bed he goes to sleep in his cat tower or his favourite office chair.
He plays on his terms of course, loves to chase shoes laces, ribbons & sit in cardboard boxes & he likes socks - to eat them & roll around with
If you are under a blanket and move your feet, he will play with those too, as he loves to pounce! Just this week he has started to roll around on carpet - there is so much more personality to blossom in this young man
He is still learning to trust and play so will nip you sometimes when playing, it’s no longer aggressive, it’s a bite then lick then bite then lick - this has reduced a lot since we first fostered him & I honestly think will continue to reduce as he learns he is now safe, this is the good life he has!
He answers to his name when called or the sound of his bowl being tapped at meal times, he loves his biscuits & wet food & is kitty litter trained, he is actually now one of the cleanest cats I’ve ever fostered.
Not a huge talker - will meow in the morning for food when he sees you - he lets you sleep in none of this in your face get up and feed me! He is a very patient cat.
At night time he will stand on his back two legs & put his paws on you for pats, around his chin and side of his face & rub up against you.

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
