About Alfie
Hi! I'm Alfie, if you a looking for a sweet very affectionate boy, I am your guy!
I lived on the streets of Newman for some time before I was caught and taken to the pound. I am glad I was caught, I used to have to fend for myself and because I was a tom cat lots of other tom cats liked to fight with me. When I came into foster care my foster fur-mum found lots of wounds on me which have all now healed, however, because of this I was tested and found to be positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This is a virus that can affect my immune system, however, if I am kept happy and healthy, I will live a long life. I am a lover not a fighter and I really enjoy having other feline companions as company, my feline foster brothers and sisters and I chase and play with each other, and I really love it.
Please don't fear my diagnosis; FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds usually in unsterilised males and really doesn't tend to affect quality of life once a cat has become a domestic King. There is no risk of transmission to another F5 vaccinated cats. I do have to be kept 100% as an indoor only cat, or even better, an indoor only cat with access to a fully secured cat enclosure and another friendly kitty to play with, maybe you could adopt one of my other foster friends?!

Alfie absolutely loves sitting beside you and having pats and gets on his foster mums lap for extended cuddles. He will expose his belly and enjoys a little belly rub. He loves to lay on the ground with his back legs stretched outwards. Sometimes when his fur mum gets up to leave, he reaches out and pulls her back with his paws. He just loves being close to his person and is such a chilled-out dude, not demanding at all, and will meow and talk to his foster mum when he is excited to see her. Alfie will do well in a calm home with no young children or excitable dogs.
He likes dry food better than wet food but he's not a really picky eater. He loves drinking out of a water fountain.
My foster mum says she is going to miss me so much when I find my family, she says I have really blossomed while in foster care and have turned out to be such a beautiful boy inside and out and I will make some lucky person or family a wonderful companion.
