About Bailey (now on trial adoption)
Bailey is on a trial adoption and we are no longer taking enquiries. Thank you.
Meet Bailey a gorgeous goofball who LOVES affection and is good at cuddling on the couch.
Bailey likes to be around his humans and loves their attention and is social with children and other dogs. He can be somewhat anxious so would like a home where people are coming and going, and he has someone to hang out with. When left alone at home in his playpen or crate he settles quickly and just sleeps.
Bailey knows his basic commands, walks well in a front harness, is smart and a quick learner. He is still just a puppy and has puppy excitement – he can get easily distracted but generally listens well and has very good recall. He is an active dog who needs stimulation and thrives on having jobs to do. Note that Bailey does not like car trips.
Bailey is social with other dogs but gets excited and plays rough so is not suitable for small dogs. Because he’s a big pup and can be excitable, he is probably best suited to older kids over 5 or 6 years. No cats or pocket pets in his new home please.
Bailey is looking for a home where he will be an inside/outside dog, an active family who will include him in family activities and who are committed to his ongoing training and socialisation, so he reaches his full potential as a wonderful family companion.
Baily has several breeds in his mix including Rottweiler, Staffy, Cattle Dog and Russell type terrier. He presently weighs around 16kg but has some growing to do. He’s in good health, with a beautiful brindle coat.
If you have experience with bigger dogs and are interested in meeting Bailey we would love to hear from you. All our dogs have a two week trial in their new home.
