About Zac ~ 2yr Old Maltese X(On Trial 5/11/21)
Hi my name is Zac and I am a 2yr old male Maltese X. Should I tell you upfront I don't trust big dogs ? Mind you, at the moment I live with my foster family and labrador fur brother & sister, whom I get along with just fine.
My foster mum says it's all about introductions and supervision, but I think it's "just be the first one to growl" and to show them I am a big dog too. Maybe I should mention I don't like cats either. I enjoy going for walks and can get a little reactive when I see other dogs but my foster mum says I just need training & more exposure to the outside world. Though my foster mum was recently told
that Maltese dogs are un-trainable , well really, honestly I am more than just a pretty face.
I love to play and tease you with toys to get you to chase me. Really you shouldn't be concerned when I use your shoes as a toy cause I don't chew them. I will jump up to show you them, I will tease you with my treasure, happy to play tug with you & generally have the best ever time. If you are not paying attention I may scratch your leg a little, but it's only cause I love to play.
My foster mum says my "off switch" works best of a night, when I like to snooze on a warm lap and don't worry, I can easily jump on & off our shared human bed, so will be there to keep you company all night !.
And I just love having a doggy door, so I can go in & out as I need to, see I am trainable. But I don't so much like being on my own for long periods of time but maybe if I had another little dog to play with, it would be ok. And maybe older children in my new family would be fun, cause they won't mind my jumping up & maybe scratching them. (10 years and older would be best).
Remember, I am only 2 years old, super gorgeous, super playful and my foster mum loves me heaps so is very picky. So if you think you have the perfect home for me, remember I like to play often, ready to take on those big dogs with me, have a little doggy pal for me , a doggy door & a yard and of course, a bed you are willing to share with me, my life will then be perfect.
