About 3571 - Violet
š«š MEET VIOLET šš«
Well hello everyone! Iām Violet, and boy, am I excited to be here!
I have been in foster care for a while, and now itās my chance to get in front of you and find a new family thatās purrfect for me. When I first came into care, I was petrifiedā¦ And I am going to be honest, Iām still a little scared and find it hard to trust humans and accept their love. But my hard exterior has certainly softened and Iām now closer than ever to being the beautiful loving girl I was born to be!
Nature
Iām an observer... I will sit in my favourite spot (closest to the heater), and watch all the happenings of the house. I really like it when my foster mum sits and has a chat with me too! I find it super relaxing and I like the attention - even if I'm not quite ready for cuddles yet!
As I mentioned before, Iām still trying to trust humans but I let my foster mum get close to me now and get some little pats in, and if you have cooked chicken in your handsā¦ I will very happily eat from them. But I definitely need a new family that will be patient and persistent with me and help to make me feel comfortable enough to come out of my shell.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently am living with eight other cats and though I'm pretty curious, Iām not so fond of them invading my space suddenly like a couple of the kittens like to do. I think I would be completely fine living with more of my feline buddies, as long as we have a sloooow introduction and they're pretty chilly cat-savvy pals.
Although most chill cats are completely fine in my book, it would probably be best for me to be in a home with no kids or older ones as younger children may be a bit too boisterous for shy old me and I think dogs will just be a bit too much for me as well.
Likes / Dislikes
You can certainly win me over with cooked chicken and definitely can't sneak it into the house without me knowing - I will always sniff it out! I love it so much I will even happily eat chicken from your hand - which will definitely help me learn to trust more easily! It's not only chicken though - my eyes get incredibly big when a bowl of my wet food gets set down in front of me.. and I will clean my bowl in a couple of seconds. I love love love food!
I do not like being surprised with loud noises or crept up on unexpectedly and I certainly do not like the vacuum!
My PURR-fect home would be somewhere I can feel safe and loved. Iāve lived a hard life before coming into care, so I just need a family that wants to help me progress and grow in my confidence and in myself. I may be a little shy but I honestly don't have a bad bone in my body! I'd also love a nice high up spot to watch the house and all its goings-on and I'd also love lots of treats and chicken, pawlease!
