About Hawk
Based in Horsham 3400
Time has come for Hawk to start looking for his lifetime home.
Hawk is a desexed male Kelpie x Border Collie with an estimated date of birth 14 December 2020.
Hawk is very much in the difficult teenager stage. He will need an understanding home that will be patient but consistent in training and moulding him to be the ideal companion.
He is very snuggly and loves hanging out on the couch. His breed mix does mean he has plenty of energy to burn and if ignored and not kept mentally stimulated will create havoc.
Hawk has had minimal training and needs a lot of work on recall and walking on lead and gentle exposure to novel things in his new humans world.
Hawk has a very high prey drive for poultry and stock and is best suited to a suburban lifestyle. He is fantastic with other dogs and very respectful of dog savvy cats. He is highly motivated by food and toys and would be a great partner for someone interested in dog sports.
Hawk goes to his new home desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $600.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
