About Mae ^^Dandy Cat Rescue^^
🐱🐱 $250 adoption fee 🐱🐱
Mae is a cheeky tabby kitten with a lovely plush coat. She is a solid kitty, much bigger than her sister Alice (also listed on Pet Rescue) as Mae really likes her food. This is due to her having a lack of it when she was very young.
Mae came to us from a home in Noble Park where local community cats had been breeding uncontrolled. As a result, Mae had very little interaction with people when we rescued her and her sister.
Mae has thrived in foster care and has warmed to people faster than her sister. Mae is actually quite a confident girl and she really enjoys cleaning your face just in case you have left any crumbs!
Mae is pretty smart and worked out how to use the kitty door that leads to the outside enclosure at her foster carer’s home. Piece of cake really...although she doesn’t stay out there long. She just wants you to know that she is clever and knows how to use it.
Mae is a loving girl but prefers to sit next to you instead of on your lap. She loves to play and would suit a family with older children.
Mae tolerates her foster carer’s dog and would be okay with a small cat-friendly dog if introduced slowly over time. She gets along well with other cats but would also be fine as an only cat.
Mae has had ringworm, and although she has been given the all-clear by our vet, we do not feel she is suitable to go to a home with young children.
Located in Noble Park North.
**Dandy Cat Rescue is a small rescue run by volunteers. We care for cats and kittens in our own homes. We will respond to your request just as soon as we possibly can and thank you for your patience.**
Medical notes
